Service Learning Programs

Service learning trips are generally one to two weeks in length.

We partner with international hosts who have compassion, experience and knowledge with the people of the countries we visit.

Our trips are always created around your potential to learn, both about the culture you visit and from the nationals who host you. The service projects on trips are designed by nationals of the host country to address a real need. We trust our partners and are grateful for their willingness to teach us.

The location and leadership of service-learning trips change every year depending on availability of leaders and in-country hosts.

There is no academic component to the trip, but students are eligible to take SOC 211 as part of their experience. Trips are led by Malone faculty and/or staff who with the students, operate in teams that work together to raise the trip funds
